Microinvest Data Collector is a universal system for fast and easy scanning of items and their quantities from a mobile device with a barcode reader.  The system allows easy export of the data from the mobile device to a standard MS Excel file, which can be imported as an operation in Microinvest Warehouse Pro. Microinvest Data Collector consists of two modules:

• Application for mobile devices, working with OS Windows Mobile 2003, Windows Mobile 5.0, Windows Mobile 6, Windows CE 4.2 and Windows CE 5.0;
• Application (working with the following OS: Windows XP/2000/2003/Vista) that accepts the data from the mobile device and exports it to Excel.

The database, which will be transfered, can be in the following form:

• Static MS Excel file – barcode, quantity;
• Dynamic MS Excel file – barcode, name of the product, quantity. The name of the product is extracted from the database of Microinvest Warehouse Pro by matching barcode or item code.

Microinvest Data Collector complements the functionality of Microinvest Warehouse Pro.

 Requirements:

• You need to have MS Excel installed and updated - office2003-KB907417-FullFile-ENU.exe;
• Net Framework 2.0 to be installed – dotnetfx.exe;
• If you want to work under Windows Vista you must have installed Windows Mobile Device Center – drvupdate-x86.exe, and for Windows XP – Microsoft ActiveSync.
