Microinvest Warehouse Pro supports real-time remote operation of retail objects. Several procedures must be followed for the product to be installed and ready for operation:

1. An SQL server is installed on a central  computer with a good internet connection, and databases are located on this server
2. In cases of a nomenclature of fewer than 2500 elements: the product is installed in the regional office/store. The connection with the central server is made directly, without using an intermediary server
3. In cases of a nomenclature of over 2500 elements: the product and a local replicational SQL server are installed in the regional office/store. The connection of the product is made by the local SQL server. The local SQL server itself becomes a subordinate to the central SQL server and works in a regime of replication of the data. This presents numerous advantages and the system becomes fast and sustainable.

Requirements for the connections:

1. The central SQL server must have a real IP address and a 10 mbit symmetric and secured channel for data
2. The local SQL servers must have a symmetric 1 mbit channel for access to the central server

This system ensures simultaneous real-time work with an unlimited number of objects, as well as access to all data in the central office. The data incoming from the whole company is gathered in the central office in real time, without the need of import/export of operations. The reliability of the system is very high due to the fact that the replication of servers ensures all data has copies throughout different servers, reinforcing the data’s integrity and security.
